💥 during the last 14 years of owning (i)phones, i've had two shattered displays. the first time, i slipped on snow and the phone went flying out of my hand onto concrete. i was able to use it a few more months but bits of glass kept breaking off until it was unusable. the second time, someone slapped the phone out of my hands as i was taking a short video for a friend during a concert she couldn't attend because she was sick. people unknowingly stepped on it and by the time someone picked it up, it was already dead.
